Raymond Jourdan
Executive Director
Ray has a background in law and business with experience that spans property, financial services, tourism & hospitality, technology and humanitarian development. As a strong strategic and innovative thinker, Ray has been working in the property space for more than 20 years, both investing and developing. Ray has a strong interest and has invested in Proptech businesses and is passionate about making it easier for people to invest in property and buy homes. Ray holds an LLB and practising certificate with the Law Society of NSW and is also a licensed real estate agent.
Alberto Basile
Non-Executive Director
Dr. Basile brings a wealth of experience and expertise in finance, risk, and compliance frameworks, making him an invaluable addition to the company. His ability to establish and maintain robust checks and controls will enhance Assetora’s risk management and compliance capabilities, ensuring the company continues operating with the highest integrity and accountability standards. Alberto Basile will lead the new risk and compliance frameworks and act as Chairman of the Risk and Compliance Committee.
Steven James
Non-Executive Director
Steven has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry. He has held senior roles at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, National Australia Bank and Westpac, and was also a foreign exchange dealer at Deutsche Bank and Bank of America. Steven has, over time, built up a detailed knowledge of the FX trading, financial planning and stock-broking financial market segments.
David Hwang

David is Managing Director of Confidant Partners, a specialist corporate law firm that excels in providing market-leading outsourced company secretarial, corporate legal and Board advisory services. He is a trusted advisor, lawyer and company secretary to Boards and management of emerging and listed entities. Throughout his career, David has had the privilege of serving and working closely with some of the sharpest minds in corporate boardrooms through all phases of their respective company lives – from inception to rapid growth, through more challenging circumstances that require careful but urgent planning and pivots.

Jules is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting). Over his career Jules has developed a broad skill set across strategic, operational and commercial aspects of corporate accounting. Jules is Big 4 trained, holding a senior position providing services to the financial services industry, before moving to commercial roles including executive finance and CFO roles. Jules has a particular interest in supporting growth companies by providing insight through meaningful and robust accounting and finance processes.
